Our History

London Square was established as a partnership in 1997 providing recovery, analysis and investigation services to a large number of legal/accountancy firms allied with forming  a niche support role within the home entertainment sector to the likes of Disney, Warner’s, Technicolor and the BBC.

The partnership continues to this day however, it evolved in to a limited company run in tandem during 2005 moving in to consultancy for merger & acquisition via a number of boutique venture capitalists in London, Zurich and Los Angeles whilst maintaining the core activities upon which the business was founded.

We have been retained by many household commercial names in the UK during the last 20 years including  Marks & Spencer, Exchange & Mart, IBM, Agfa Gevaert and Toshiba.

Following the acquisition of the company by The Woodborough Trust in 2015 we have moved progressively in to identification of innovative funding for international clients looking for expansion, acquisition or a simple increase in share capital and work with close associates in these endeavours.

In 2016 we created a separate division dealing with private acquisition of various commodities where we either act as principals or are retained by same.

The Future

Woodborough has invested significantly in the last year to finance other opportunities which we anticipate to be income producing by the end of 2019.

Having established subsidiary companies in France and Singapore we now have a more global platform to run our commodity and financial services.

Our key players have many years experience within finance, analysis and recovery continuing to guide the business forward under the umbrella of our parent company.

All enquiries are dealt with in strict confidence.
